"Christian Exodus" to SC

Now here's an interesting article. There's a conservative group named "Christian Exodus" who are recruiting Christian conservatives to move to South Carolina, a state they picked because of their similar conservative, Christian ideals. By recruiting those to SC, they can hope to back Christian ideals and influence the regions laws to be more Christian-like. Very Interesting.
So far only 20 people have moved, but 1,200 have signed up on the website as intending to move to SC.

So when are the Blinsons moving?

Ha, no seriously, isn't this just another misunderstanding of the doctrine of Christians' resident alienship? Or alien residency? And of suffering? And of Jesus' Sermon on the Mount?

He calls us to be the "light of the world" and the "salt of the earth," so how are we to do that if we all congregate geographically together? This idea is ridiculous for good reason. We are not called to establish a Christian country or state but a kingdom by means of Christ's church.

Move into a hard area, SC Exodusers, not your intended utopia of South Carolina. Or stay where you are and be lights for His glory there. Moving to the South won't make it any easier. Our culture is just as pagan here as anywhere.
